Majalgaon is a taluk headquarters situated on the banks of the Sindphana, about 17 km south-east of Rajegaon, in Beed District. It is located at the intersection of roads connecting towns and villages within and outside the district. Pimparkher is 20 km south-west and Hadgaon Buzurg in Parbhani District is 21 km towards the north-east. Parbhani and Jalna are other locations within 70 km.
