Osmanabad District, formerly known as Dharashiv, is situated in the Marathwada region of
Maharashtra. It is known all over India due to Goddess Tuljabhavani. The town of Osmanabad is the headquarters. Jowar, sunflower, sugarcane and tur are the principal crops.
