Kandri is situated 24 km north-east of Musrumgand, in Gadchiroli District. It lies 11 km north of Assundi. Pendri is 7 km north and Mukapalli is 46 km south-west of Kandri.

For a nature lover, Tadoba - Andharai Tiger Reserve, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary are ideal getaways in the neighborhood. Other places worth visiting around include Markandeshwar, Vairagad Fort and the sacred site of Ekora.
