Jogeshwari, a residential and commercial area in northern Mumbai, is located between Andheri and Goregaon. It is around 2 km north of Andheri.
Jogeshwari is an interesting spot for archeologists with the Brahmanical Rock Caves, which resemble the Elephanta caves. These 8th century caves are decorated with interesting sculptures. There is also a beautiful shrine with four doors and a large lingam nearby.
