Marathi poet and philosopher of the 13th century. A prominent leader of the Bhakti movement, his principal works include Bhawarthadipika, Anubhavamrita, Changadevaprasasti, and Abhangagatha. Bhawarthadipika is a religious treatise written with the intention of bringing within the reach of the common man the spiritual truths contained in the ancient Sanskrit scriptures.
