Managed by the Central Railways, Hotgi Railway Station is on the Solapur-Gulbarga railway line. Mumbai-Chennai Mail, Mumbai-Hyderabad Express, Basava Express, Bijapur-Solapur Passenger and Bijapur-Raichur Passenger run through this station.
To the north-west is Solapur Junction Railway Station, the nearest major railhead. Dudhani Railway Station, the next main station, is situated to the south-east of Hotgi.
