Dhanora

Dhanora is a taluk headquarters town situated 25 km north of Phustola, in Gadchiroli District. Located about 35 km north-east of Gadchiroli, the district headquarters, Dhanora is about 15 km from Muramgaon. Chatgaon is 17 km south-west.

The temple complex at Markandeshwar, Vairagad Fort and the sacred site of Ekora are some places of tourist interest around. Tadoba - Andharai Tiger Reserve, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary in the neighboring Chandrapur District are contiguous with the forests of Gadchiroli District and are ideal getaways for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike.

Sonegaon Airport and Mul Marora Railway Station serve Dhanora.
