Dashabhuja Ganapati Temple




Dashabhuja Ganapati Temple at Hedvi is popular in Ratnagiri. Built during the time of the Peshwas, this temple enshrines the marble idol of Lord Ganesh. There is a fresh water spring just outside the entrance of the temple. This temple is located at the bottom of the hill to the north of the Hedvi Beach.

Uma-Maheshwar temple at Bamanhal is the nearby attraction, which is 3 km from Hedvi. Hedvi is 27 km from Guhagar. The nearest railhead is at Chiplun on Konkan Railway.
