Chinnur is a small town in Adilabad District. It lies 15 km north of Asanad and 24 km east of Jaipuram. Pranahita Wildlife Sanctuary under the Chinnur- Mancherial forest division, situated about 300 km north east of Hyderabad, is a site worth visiting. Chinnur is also famous for its cotton weavers.
