Kalam

Kalam is a taluk headquarters town situated 20 km north-west of Ralegaon, in Yavatmal District. It lies on the way from Yavatmal to Wardha, about 20 km to the north-east of the district headquarters. Kalam is 50 km south-west of Wardha and around 25 km from Bhidi.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are suitable wilderness spots ideal for short excursions. Chintamani of Kalamb and Sahastrakund Waterfalls are other tourist sites worth visiting.
