Balharshah is located in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra. It lies on the banks of Wardha River and is about 16 km south of Chandrapur. Warora is 63 km north-west of Balharshah.

Sonegaon Airport is the nearest airport. Balharshah Railway Station is on the Chandrapur – Kazipet rail route.
