Dapoli is a hill station in the
Ratnagiri District of
Maharashtra. At a height of around 800 feet, this cool refuge rose to fame after the British chose it for their military camp. Hence its alternative name is Camp Dapoli. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, a respected college of agriculture of the state, is located here. This area of natural beauty has other attractions also nearby like beaches, forts, temples and caves.
