Amba lies near Beed District’s border with Ahmednagar District and is 15 km north of Balam Yelim. It is 13 km north-west of Pimpala and about 14 km from Kharwandi. Aurangabad is 74 km north, while Ahmednagar is around 85 km towards the south-west.
