Shirdi

Shirdi is situated in Rahata Taluk in the Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra. It is on the Ahmednagar-Manmad Highway, 250 km from Mumbai and 75 km from Nasik. Shirdi was the house of the saint Sai Baba, who lived here for eighty years and died here over eighty years ago. The streets of Shirdi are lined with shops, selling Sai Baba's memorabilia.
