Shendi

Shendi lies near Ahmednagar District’s north-western border, which it shares with Nasik District, and is 11 km north-west of Rajur. The village is also quite near the district’s border with Thane District. Vasali is 12 km north-west, while Akola is 25 km south-east. Bhandardara Dam, Umbrella Falls, Randha Falls and Kalasubai Harischandragad Wildlife Sanctuary are some prominent tourist places, within easy access from Shendi.
