Baldeogarh is a major town in
Tikamgarh District of
Madhya Pradesh. The place is famous for its betel-leaf cultivation.
Places of tourist interest are the famous Vindhya Vasini Devi Temple and the massive rock fort standing above the beautiful Gwal-Sagar Tank. A big old Gun is located in this fort.
An annual seven days fair, known as Vindhyavasani Fair, held here in the month of Chaitra is a major draw.
Baldeogarh is situated on the Tikamgarh-Chhatarpur road, about 26 km east of Tikamgarh. Frequent buses are available to Ahar, Prithvipur and Jatara.
