State Museum is situated at Vidisha, Vidisha District of Madhya Pradesh. The museum exhibits portions of the Lion or Bull capitals from the Maurya period, Yaksha and Yakshi images from Shunga Dynasty and sculpted panels from Sanchi Stupa gateways. Inscribed sculptures Jaina sculptures from Gupta period are other artifacts on displays.
