Sitabuldi Fort is a historic structure, situated on the twin hills of Sitabuldi, in
Nagpur District of
Maharashtra. Built in 1857 by a British officer, the fort is protected by a moat. A war memorial is seen within this fort, to commemorate the soldiers who died during the battle between the Marathas and the British.
The fort now houses the office of the Territorial Army.
Sitabuldi Fort is open to the public only on National holidays.
Sonegaon Airport is about 8 km from the city. Nagpur is a major railway station and is also well-connected by road to all the major places.
