Indore Shiva Temple is an ancient shrine situated in
Guna District of
Madhya Pradesh. This beautiful temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva.
It is circular in architecture and has a sanctum of 12 offsets. Above the platform, the wall consists of ornate offsets with alternate plain angular wall surface. The whole temple is surmounted by Shikhara and the major offsets are adorned with niches and the pediments on the top. There are also images of various divinities such as Ganesh, Karttikeya and Uma.
Guna is the nearest town, which is 158 km north of Bhopal.
