Constructed in 1893, Bada Jain Mandir is the main Jain temple of Chanderi. The temple enshrines 29 beautiful color idols of
Teerthankars as per Jaina puranas.
The temple is about 1 km from Chanderi Bus Stand. Regular transport services are available from Gwalior,
Indore, Guna and
Ashoknagar. The nearest air port is at Gwalior, at a distance of about 200 km.
