Ganesh Mandir is situated in Gopalpur village, just 3 km from
Sehore, in
Madhya Pradesh. The presiding deity here is
Lord Ganesh. Large number of devotees visits the temple on every Wednesdays, as Wednesday is stated auspicious to Ganesh.
According to legends, the construction of the temple dates back to Vikramaditya of Ujjain and was later renovated by BajiRao I the Maratha Peshwa.
