Sailana Bird Sanctuary, established in 1983, is situated in
Ratlam District,
Madhya Pradesh. Spread over 13 sq km, it is home a large variety of birds. It is also a heaven for migratory birds during seasons.
The sanctuary is one of the breeding habitats of Lesser Florican in India.
The best time to visit the sanctuary is from July to September.
The nearest airport is at Indore. Ratlam Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Regular buses are available from
