Priyadarshini Point is the point from where Captain Forsyth, a Bengal Lancer, first caught a glimpse of the beautiful site of
Pachmarhi. Also known as Forsyth Point, it marks the place from where Pachmarhi was discovered by Captain Forsyth in 1857. Acting on Forsyth's information the British developed Pachmarhi as a resort.
