Lanji

Lanji is a charming town in Balaghat District of Madhya Pradesh and is around 55 km south-east of Balaghat town.

Major point of attarction of the town is the ancient Lanji Temple and Fort. Kanha National Park, Nahlesara Dam, Dhuti Dam and Gangulpara Tank and Water Fall constitute interesting excursions outside Lanji.

Nearest airport is at Nagpur. Balaghat Railway Station, situated on the narrow gauge line of Jabalpur-Gondia section of South Eastern Railways, is the closest railhead.
