Bahoriband is one of the historical places of
Katni. One can see many monuments scattered around this village. A huge statue of Jain
Teerthankar Shantinath 12 ft high, and numerous statues of Lord
Vishnu and
Lord Surya are among the monuments found here. A stone has been found near the reservoir depicting the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The village has gained more importance and fame after the establishment of Stone Park.
Bahoriband is at a distance of 64 km from
Jabalpur and 24 km from Sihora road station in Sihora tehsil of Jabalpur district. Bus services are available.
Katni station is located in the heart of the rail network at the junction of trunk rail routes connecting north, south, east and west.
