Jaithari

Jaithari is a small settlement in Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated towards the eastern part of the district, about 13 km north of Deori and 21 km south-west of Salabarru. The nearest major town is Sagar, which is 67 km north.

An ancient fort, built by Chandela Raja, is the major attraction nearby. Bhimbetka Caves, Sanchi and Singhori Wildlife Sanctuary can be visited.

The National Highway 12 passes close to this town. Nearest airport is Bhopal Airport. Sagar Railway Station serves Jaithani.
