Bajrangarh




Bajrangarh is a quaint village in Guna District of Madhya Pradesh. It is about 8 km south-west of Guna on the Guna-Aron road.

The major attraction is an ancient fort, the Bajrangarh Fort (early known as Jharkon), standing at an altitude of about 92 m. It is believed to have been built by the Marathas in 1775.

Other interesting monuments of Bajrangarh include a big step-well and an ancient temple.

Nearest major airport is at Bhopal. Guna Railway Station is on the Kota-Bina rail line.
