Gautampura




Gautampura is a small town in Indore District of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of the Chambal River, about 16 km north of Depalpur and 68 km north-west of Indore.

Mhow, the holy city of Ujjain, Sardarpur Sanctuary and the historic sites around Indore are the places to visit.

Hingot Festival is a violent but unique one celebrated in this locality (they throw rockets made of hingot, a fruit, at each other and actually hurt themselves in the process.
