Mau

Mau lies on the National Highway 76, just 4 km south of Nowgong, in Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh. Chhatarpur, the administrative headquarters, is 13 km away while Maharajpur is 16 km east.

An 8th century temple of Lord Ganesh is a major attraction. The heritage site of Khajuraho is easily accessible from Mau.
