Bhaghela Museum




Bhaghela Museum is situated in Tala, a tiny settlement on the Umaria-Rewa state highway, in Umaria District. It forms a part of the private collection of the Maharaja of Rewa. Displayed items include the famed stuffed white tiger, Mohan, military and hunting paraphernalia, a carved ivory and silver chess set, and an extravagant swing bench made of Belgian cut glass and silver.

The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs. Bandhavgarh National Park is a nearby outing. Umaria Railway Station serves Tala.
