Vallikunnu is a coastal village in
Malappuram District. It covers an area of 25 sq km, and has a population of 41 thousand.
Vallikunnu Beach and
Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary are the major interests. Other attractions include photo exhibition hall, miracle expo center and science museum. During February-April, the week long Pooram festival at the Niramkitha Kotta Bhagavati temple near Vallikunnu attracts thousands.
