Valakom

Valakom in Kollam District is a picturesque village to the south of Kottarakara and north of Ayoor on M.C Road (State Highway 1). Major educational institutions here are R.V. Training College and C.S.I. Training Center for Teachers of the Hearing Impaired. Mercy Hospital is a major health care center in this area.
