Thiruvallam is a town situated six km south of
Thiruvananthapuram city, on the Thiruvananthapuram -
Kovalam road. The place has the ancient
Parashuram temple on the banks of the Karamana River. A memorial of
Parashuram built of granite stone is consecrated in the temple. The temple is devoted to the Trinity of the Hindu pantheon.
