Peroorkada is a crowded township in
Thiruvananthapuram District of
Kerala, about 7 km from
Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station. It is a major junction, from where four roads lead in four different directions such as east road for Nedumangadu, west for
Thiruvananthapuram city, north for getting to M C Road via Mannanthala and south road leads to the hospitals and police station. The main landmarks here include the Government General Hospital, Government Mental Hospital, Peroorkada Post Office, Vasantham Towers shopping complex, Income Tax Office, Government High School for Girls, Government High School for Boys and the town market.
The town has its own bus station from where buses are available for almost every nearby village and town such as Aruvikkara, Vellanad,
Karakulam, Nalanchira and Nedumangadu. The nearest railway station and airport are Thiruvnananthapuram Central Railway Station (7 km) and Trivandrum International Airport (15 km) respectively.
