Shri Bhadrakali Temple is a divine spot, located near Kattakada, at Edathara, in
Thiruvananthapuram District of
Kerala. This beautiful shrine is the abode of
Bhadrakali, an incarnation of goddess
Durga.
Subsidiary shrines are earmarked for the deities of Lord Ganesh, Nagaraja and Mantramoorti. All the sub shrines within the temple are conspicuous for their beauty and grace. The main offerings are
pushpanjali and Maha Ganapathy Homa.
Many devotees visit this holy place and pay homage to the deity. The Dikkubali Festival which is celebrated once in three years and the annual Kaliyootu are the major festivals organized at the temple.
