Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute is situated in
Thiruvananthapuram at
Kesavadasapuram Junction, which is the intersection of National Highway (NH 47) and Main Central (MC) road. The hospital which was started in 1995 has revolutionized the standard of eye care in the state within a short span of time, and is currently one of the premier ophthalmic hospitals in south India and the best in

An eye bank is also available at the hospital which procures, preserves and distributes the donor eyes free of cost. The general ophthalmology wing functions on all days from 08:00 to 13:00 hrs and 16:30 to 19:30 hrs except on Sundays. Casualty services function on Sundays also.
