CVN Kalari Sangham is situated near the famous
Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple at
East Fort in
Thiruvananthapuram. The center, started in 1956, is a school of
Kalaripayattu, the traditional martial art form of
Kerala.
Training sessions and exercises in Kalaripayattu, and ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment are available here. Training can be viewed for free in the gymnasium between 06:30 to 08:30 hrs, except on Sundays.
