Ambalathara Mahadeva Temple

Mahadeva Temple is located at Ambalathara, about 4 km from East Fort in Thiruvananthapuram. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva. Separate sanctums are here for worshiping Lord Ganesh, Lord Kartikeya, Parvati and Nagaraja .

Every year during Mahashivaratri, special ceremonies and pujas are offered. Besides, a grand annual festival is celebrated.

Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station, the nearest railhead, is around 5 km away from the temple.
