State Highway 22

State Highway 22 is a 70 km-long stretch that runs from Kodungallur on National Highway 17 up to Shoranur in Palakkad District. State Highway 22 starts at Kodungallur, near the Thrissur–Ernakulam border, and runs north-east touching Irinjalikuda, Nadavarambu and Pallisseri, joins National Highway 47 near Thrissur and again proceeds north-eastwards through Paramekavu temple, Viyyur, Mulamkunnathukavu, Vadakkancheri and Cheruthuruthy, before joining State Highway 23 near Shoranur.
