Shri Ayinippully Parvati Temple, dedicated to goddess
Parvati, is situated in Perakom Desham near
Chavakkad in
Thrissur District. The temple is midway between Shri Perakam Shiva temple and Shri Thekkumkattil Bhagavati Temple.
Nivedyam, kalasabhishekam,
thayambakam and thalam are the main offerings. It is said that girls who take thalams for goddess Parvati in this temple can secure ideal bridegrooms and they will be blessed with a happy, prosperous married life.
An annual festival is celebrated in the Malayalam month
Meenam. The Punaprathishta day or the reinstallation day of the idol in the shrine, held in the month of
Midhunam, also is an important occasion.
