Santhigiri Ashram is situated at
Pothencode in
Thiruvananthapuram. It was founded by Acharya Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru. The ashram provides spiritual guidance for the people. All human actions including spiritual, material and cultural activities are carried out.
A hospital complex at the ashram offers Ayurveda, Siddha, Homeopathy and Allopathy treatments. The Ayurveda and Siddha medicines needed for the hospital are manufactured in the ashram itself. The ashram runs a residential school with hostel facilities. Daily free food service called ‘annadanam’ is given for more than 2,000 people.
The ashram also run printing press and publication division, and various industries such as wood industry, polymer industry, coir processing industry, oil mill and soap manufacturing unit.
