Thirupuraikkal Bhagavati Temple is situated at
Vadakkanthara in
Palakkad District.
The temple is erected in a large compound and has a majestic appearance with a spacious ground. The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Durga, in the form of Kannaki. The idol is seen with flat black face against red cloth, with metal etchings marking her features.
The Thirupuraikkal temple attracts visitors throughout the year, peaking at the annual summer festival.
