Kanjikode, an industrial area, is located in
Palakkad District of
Kerala. It is around 12 km east of
Palakkad. It lies near the district’s border with
Tamil Nadu.
Large number of industrial establishments such as Indian Telephone Industries, Instrumentation Ltd, Fluid Control Centers, Malabar Cements Ltd, Pepsico India Holdings Pvt Ltd, The Coca-Cola Company and many other small and medium scale industries functions from here. The first wind farm of Kerala was established at Kanjikode.
Kanjikode Railway Station is on the Palakkad-Coimbatore rail route. C A Coimbatore Airport is the nearest airport. National Highway 47 passes through Kanjikode.
