Nagayakshi is the divine consort of
Lord Nagaraja. Many temples in south India have Nagayakshi as one of the deities. Usually the goddess is seen enshrined along with Nagaraja. Nagayakshi is believed to be benevolent and grants the wishes of her devotees.
