Kalamassery is a special grade
panchayat located between
Aluva and
Ernakulam in
Kerala. Spreading across 26 sq km, it is one of the industrially developed towns in south India. In olden times Kalamassery was known as Njalakom. Trikkakara Mahabali Temple, St Mary's Jacobite Church, St George Orthodox church, Government Polytechnic and St Paul's College are the major landmarks of this town.
