Padagiri

A quaint place, Padagiri is situated in Palakkad District of Kerala and is around 50 km south of Palakkad.

Padagiri has to its backdrop the tallest peak among Nelliyampathy Hills and it has a height of about 1500 m above sea level. This peak is also called Nellikota. Another attraction is the huge teak trees growing here.

Kollengode (north), Parambikulam (east), Kallana (south) and Pothundy (west) are the surrounding places.

The place is an ideal weekend getaway.

Cochin International Airport is 48 km south-west and Coimbatore Airport is 70 km north-east. Palakkad Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Kollengode Railway Station on the Palakkad-Madurai meter gauge line is another railhead nearby.
