Murukkampuzha Railway Station

Murukkampuzha Railway Station, also spelt Murukkumpuzha Railway Station, is about 21 km from Thiruvananthapuram. It is served by the Southern Railways. Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Malabar Express, Thiruvananthapuram-Kottayam Passenger, Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam Passenger and Madurai-Kollam Passenger are the main train connections.

The railway station falls on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam rail route. Kaniyapuram Railway Station is the main station to the south of Murukkumpuzha. Going north, Chirayinkil Railway Station is the nearest main station.
