Vaathanikuncha Koodaram is a special ayurvedic Kalari treatment for diseases such as rheumatism and cancer. Other than the normal rasayanams (herbal tonics), the patient is advised to rest in a special hut, surrounded by 46 varieties of herbal plants. Changalamparanda, chittharatha, adapathyan, chittaamruthu, devadharam, murukku, cheerakagoli, kurumthotty and kagoli are the main herbal plants used.
