Mangala Vartha Church is located at Arumanoor, which is 15 km from
Kottayam.
Dedicated to Mother Mary, the church is one of the parishes of archdiocese of Changanacherry. The church is named after the Biblical incident of the visit of Gabriel, the angel, to Mother Mary, for her consent that Jesus to be born as her son.
A grotto of St Mary and the pastoral center are the important features of the church.
