Mankada Kootil Sivakshethram is a thousand-year-old temple dedicated to
Lord Shiva in
Malappuram District.
The upadevas worshiped here are Thirumandhamkunnilamma, Sastha and Ganesh. The
shrikovil is a round one. There is a well on the north end of the temple, which is believed to be inhabited by a bhootha (spirit).
The temple is located at Mankada, about 15 km south-east of Malappuram.
